At the center of the House of Prayer Springfield is the prayer room. Modeled after the tabernacle of David (1 Chr. 22-24), it is a place of night and day prayer, worship, and intercession. We have a room dedicated on the upper level for personal and corporate time of encountering God. Corporate gathering in this room are contemplative prayer (Wednesdays 7-8am) and corporate intercession (Fridays 10-11pm). The prayer room is a place for freedom of worship, whether that is joining in corporate prayer, meditating on scripture, or engaging in personal prayer. General open hours for personal prayer are from 9am - 3pm, Tuesday-Thursday. All are welcome to visit the prayer room.
We have corporate worship and intercession (Tuesdays 6-7:30pm) in the sanctuary on the main level. During corporate worship sets, people are invited to encounter the Lord. The agenda for worship nights is simply to gaze upon the man Christ Jesus and minister to Him both individually and corporately. Intercession sets are energized times of prayer focused on the city, state, nation, and world. Individuals are welcome to come pray on the microphone and agree with other’s prayers. The purpose of intercession is to move the heart of God and the heavens to invade earth.
